During the five-day safari in Tanzania, you will explore Tarangire National Park to observe several elephants, as well as tour Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife viewing opportunities. Your journey in the national parks will involve searching for the Big Five and numerous other wildlife species.
Day 1: pickup and transfers to Tarangire National Park.
Your guide will get you from your hotel in Arusha on the inaugural day of your safari and extend a warm welcome for the excursion. A quick orientation will precede your departure to Tarangire National Park.
During the tour, you will participate in a game drive to observe various wildlife species, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and gazelles, while also appreciating the Tarangire River and other sights at the destination. Following your wildlife drive, you will be transported back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Journey to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast at your accommodation, your guide will transport you to Serengeti National Park. You will partake in a tour of the site while exploring the expansive savannah grasslands.
Your guide will transport you through the center region of Serengeti National Park while you search for various animal species during your game drive, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, hartebeests, elands, and impalas, among others. Upon concluding your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Entire day in Serengeti National Park
Your guide will transport you across the savannah plains of Serengeti National Park, where you will participate in both a morning and afternoon game drive to observe various wildlife species, including elephants, buffalos, rhinos, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and others.
Following your morning game drive, you will partake in lunch and subsequently go on an afternoon game drive in the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Journey to Ngorongoro and crater exploration
Following an early breakfast at your lodge, you will commence your trip from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a safari. You will also make a visit to Olduvai Gorge to learn more about human evolution. You will descend into the crater and participate in a game drive while searching for diverse wildlife species, including black rhinos, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, hyenas, warthogs, kudu, and waterbucks, among others.
During your vacation to Ngorongoro, you will appreciate observing flamingos and several animal species while on a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Subsequent to this excursion, you will be transported to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure
On the final day of your safari, your guide will transport you from your lodge to Arusha, where you will be taken to your hotel or the airport, concluding the 5-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari.
